Miller Homes, a client for nearly a decade now, wanted to stand out from the crowd and be recognised as the industry’s innovator.

We advised our keen client that to make their mark they had to own an issue. There were few such vacancies but “sustainable communities” struck a chord with us. No one seemed to be doing much to make these “communities” anything more than just a buzz word. So, we did our homework and suggested that Miller Homes should create a website that enabled buyers to get to know their neighbours online. And so, www.mymillerstreet.co.uk was born.

In terms of press coverage we scored well with 50 launch articles in the press including pieces in The Times, The Mirror, The Scotsman and The Telegraph. We then partnered with psychologist, Geoffrey Beattie and delivered a dozen radio interviews and a further 17 newspaper hits. The industry response to the campaign was outstanding. Weeks after the press launch of “mymillerstreet”,  Building Magazine voted Miller Homes Britain’s Best Housebuilder, citing WPR’s very own brainchild as a key decider in its deliberations.
