WARWICK CASTLE

When Midlands tourist attraction Warwick Castle decided their existing PR strategy needed a shot in the arm, they asked us to test our mettle during their crucial Christmas trading period.  The brief was short and sweet: achieve maximum media exposure and send visitor numbers through the roof.

With just three months to turn it round, we got on the phones to our media contacts from Day One – and didn’t let up until we had our coverage in the bag.   Supported by phenomenal photography and top class copy, our media relations onslaught and no-nonsense approach proved impossible to resist, generating 128 high quality hits over the festive season with a whopping PR value of £275k. 25 journalists paid us a visit and everyone from Good Housekeeping to the Guardian waxed lyrical about their Castle experience.

But most importantly, we batted the visitor targets right out of the park.  To the client’s delight, Warwick Castle registered a 30% increase in visitor numbers based on the previous year and attributed it almost entirely to PR.  Not bad for a rush job.
