Cookie up a storm


There are two things that always get the WPR team excited: Cookies and the X Factor. So when Millie's Cookies asked us to shout about their giant, special edition X Factor finalist cookies, we knew we had the recipe for success!
 
Given just two days notice and a collection of cookie-tastic photos, we set about listing the giant treats on eBay to raise money for charity and promptly told the nation. Within 48 hours, the cookie-likes had been featured on The Daily Mail, Heatworld and OK! websites, not to mention a host of regional, trade and marketing titles. Millie's Cookies was the talk of Twitter, with 'cookie's-odds' predicting who the overall winner would be. Even journalists were putting their money where their mouth was, bidding for a taste of the scrumptious Matt Cardle!
 
By the end of the campaign, we had reached over 54million unique users online, Millie's Cookies was trending on Twitter and we'd helped to raise a bucket load for charity. Even Simon Cowell would have been pleased with those results.
