WPR has cooked up countless new product launches, partnerships and case studies for leading Continental pastry, savoury and bread brand Bakehouse during the course of our seven year relationship.
Currently working to aid the marketing team's transition from one brand to a dual brand strategy, following on from the company's acquisition by Lantmännen Unibake UK in 2010, WPR began the new year by whipping up a fun and engaging launch programme for the Do-licious Donut range. An all-new category for the Bakehouse brand, we got the trade press' taste buds tingling with a Valentine's themed mailer, sending 'We're sweet on you' cards to key contacts along with some tempting samples.
And who could resist? From Convenience Store mentioning the press drop in their next issue to numerous comments from everyone else on the hit list, the donuts were well received and the cuttings are flooding in.
Beyond the NPD support, our hard working press desk approach has been a tried and tested recipe for success, which is why we've been Bakehouse's sous chef for so long. Each year, coverage has been boosted and 2011 is set to be an exciting year for both Bakehouse and Lantmännen Unibake UK as WPR's portfolio of products to promote expands and many new business developments simmer away nicely.
